TILES UK LIMITED TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions apply to all enquiries and purchases made on the Tiles UK website. No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall apply unless in writing and signed by a Director. This does not affect your statutory rights.

COMPANY INFORMATION

Tiles UK Limited is a family owned and run business, which has specialised in the retail and distribution of wall and floor tiles, grouts, adhesives, trims and tools for over 70 years. More recently we have extended our portfolio to offer a full range of bathroom suites and accessories.Our Head Office (Registered Office) is based in Salford, close to the newly established Media City, at Tile House, 1-13 Montford Street, Off South Langworthy Road, Salford, M50 2XD. SAMPLE TILES

Customers can request samples of tiles prior to committing to an order to ensure they will satisfy expectations, as colours on the website may not always accurately portray the colour of the product. We offer a smaller cut piece of tile that we will send you free of charge up to maximum of 3 pieces.Please note that there is a tolerance for sizing variation and shading, particularly with natural products, so please check items on receipt as we are unable to rectify any issues once tiles have been fitted.

PLACING YOU ORDER

All orders placed through our website must be paid for via PayPal or card. All card payments are processed through SagePay, which is an independent payment gateway with security in place to protect against fraud, both for the customer and Tiles UK. Orders will be supplied at our discretion.Tiles UK will not be held responsible for any measurements and calculations made when placing your order and we recommend adding 10% extra for wastage.Once an order has been placed on our website, Tiles UK will fulfil the order to the best of our abilities and offer alternative solutions should it not be possible.Should you wish to update your order after it has been placed, please call our Head Office on 0161 872 5155 or email sales@tilesuk.com for further assistance. However, if your order has been processed for delivery, further costs may be incurred.

PROMOTIONS AND CLEARANCE ITEMS

Promotional codes can only be used once per customer and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or on clearance items.

DISCREPANCIES

Any discrepancies, including breakages or shortfalls, must be reported to Tiles UK within 24 hours in writing via email. We will make every effort to resolve any issues as quickly as we can, however customers should not book the work of any professionals before they are in receipt of their complete order and have checked it is correct.

STOCK AVAILABILITY AND TIMESCALES

Our integrated tile calculator will assist you to determine your requirements, however it is your responsibility to ensure that all measurements are correct and sufficient product has been supplied before you arrange installation. Any timescales issued regarding supply and delivery are made to the best of our knowledge at the time. We cannot be held responsible for any delays. Again, customers should not book the work of any professionals before they are in receipt of their complete order and have checked it is correct.

SHADING AND SIZING

Due to the manufacturing processes products can vary in shade and size. This is a characteristic of the product and must be considered when ordering tiles from different batches. It is advisable to order sufficient quantity for your requirements from one batch. No claim in respect of variations of shade, size or otherwise will be considered unless made within 3 days of dispatch of goods and confirmed in writing within 7 days of receipt.Please check all goods and batch numbers prior to fixing as no claim can be entertained after these tiles are fixed.

RETURNS

Should you need to return any items, please refer to our separate Returns Policy.You must notify us in writing if you need to return any items and this must be agreed in advance. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that items are properly packaged to avoid breakage and fully cover the cost of postage.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When placing your order please provide us with as much information as you can to assist us with your delivery. Full contact details, including a mobile phone number, will help with tracking your delivery and finding your property more quickly.If your property has any obstacles, uneven surfaces, parking or access issues, please inform us when placing your order. We will make every effort to deliver as close to the property as we can, within the issued guidelines.
